Flame Test

The first picture shows our different biodiesel fuels burning and the second shows the carbon sediments of burned colza, biodiesel fuel and diesel fuel.

Viscosity Test

First, we introduce a permanganate potassium sphere in a burette. This burette contain liquid (biodiesel, diesel fuel, colza oil). Next we measure the speed of a sphere, traveled distance, duration, radius, drop volume and volumetric mass of biodiesel, diesel fuel and colza oil . After we use a formula to calcul viscosity.

Calorimetric Test

This picture show our experiment system to measure the energy was liberate by 10ml of liquid.

The diesel fuel is more calorific than biodiesel fuel because the diesel burned longer than biodiesel.
